Every piece of granite has been hand-picked from the north coast of our beautiful island, polished by hand, set in sterling silver or 9ct gold. The Jersey Hedgehog Collection
A sparkling way to make a difference
A new charity collection of Jersey hedgehog-shaped sterling silver jewellery has been brought to life in a delightful blend of philanthropy and fashion. The Mr Quillson Hedgehog Collection, designed by Jersey Inspired’s Jennifer Velazco and crafted with precision, features an array of exquisite pieces, including earrings, a bracelet, charms, and a necklace. Each piece showcases the charming figure of the beloved hedgehog and supports Jersey’s local Hedgehog Preservation Group. Ten per cent of all sales go to charity. It is a piece of prickly perfection to add to any jewellery collection.
The Mr Quillson figure features an outline of the island engraved on the pendant’s belly. It is made of 925 sterling silver with a rhodium coating for a longer-lasting shine. To add sparkle, the eyes are adorned with black crystal, and the cute round nose is coated in enamel.
So, whether you love jewellery, wildlife, the environment (or all three!), this is the collection for you!

The Jersey Hedgehog Preservation Group was started in 1992 primarily to care for underweight autumn juveniles. But they quickly realised that this would be an all-year-round job! Today, it cares for around 500 sick or injured hogs a year.

Many Hedgehogs are killed unintentionally.
Despite an average lifespan of two to three years, many hedgehogs live even shorter lives, losing their lives on roads, to lawnmowers, strimmers, and garden chemicals.

The Jersey Puffin Collection
Our puffin collection is created with love using sterling silver and coloured enamel to mimic the beautiful colours of our beloved puffin. Jersey’s puffin statues highlight the species, the problems puffins face on the island, and how islanders can protect them as part of Jersey’s natural heritage. The two giant woven steel and willow puffin sculptures on the cliff top at Plemont are well worth a visit for some fantastic family photos.

‘Ormering’ or Ormer harvesting is a well-known part of Jersey’s heritage—a culinary delicacy but also for many other reasons. Fishing for Ormers may only take place from 1st October to 30th April. During that period, fishing may only occur on the first day of each new or full moon and the 3 following days – these fishing periods are known as ‘Ormering tides’.

Affectionately known as our ‘Jersey Girls,’ Jersey Cows are said to produce the best milk in the world – rich and great for ice cream! Jersey Cows were considered so valuable they were used as women’s dowries. They can be found worldwide, but cattle imports to the island were banned from 1763-2008, keeping the breed pure for over 200 years!

Did you know?
Corbière lighthouse is one of the first sights to greet visitors to Jersey as they pass it on the ferry. Channel Island waters are notoriously dangerous, but the lighthouse comes as a relief, sparking the local phrase
“‘avons pâssé La Corbiéthe” (we’ve passed La Corbière), meaning “the worst is over”.

The Daisy represents purity, innocence and joy. In Norse mythology, the Daisy is the sacred flower for the goddess of love, beauty and fertility. Because of this, daisies symbolise childbirth, motherhood and new beginnings. The collection represents sunshine and summer, cliffpath walks and strolls through fields and gardens.
