Jersey Inspired

Located in the heart of St Helier, Jersey Inspired was opened in 2023 by Jennifer Velazco to provide something unique to people who live in and visit beautiful Jersey. After success with her first Jewellery store, which she opened in 2015, Jennifer wanted to expand her collections and bring an even more comprehensive range of unique designs to the high street. All the pieces are designed by Jennifer on the premises and exclusive to Jersey Inspired. We use local gems such as our historic Jersey pink granite, Black granite and Jersey’s famous Ormer shell.

The inspiration behind the designs comes from all things that are special about the island, and this is shown through the collections, such as The Jersey Cow, Corbiere lighthouse, The Jersey Bean, Island inspired and The Jersey Crapaud. We want people to be able to take home a genuine piece of Jersey, whether it be for a gift or as a reminder of your memorable holiday in sunny Jersey.

Our easy-going and helpful staff will make your shopping experience an absolute pleasure, and if you can’t find what you’re looking for, we are happy to commission a piece exclusive to you.

Meet The Team

Jennifer Velazco

I first arrived in Jersey for a holiday thirty years ago, and immediately fell in love with island life.I returned home to Dublin, packed my bags, and came straight back to live on this beautiful island I now call home. The journey of creating unique jewellery designs and bringing my ideas to life began In 2015, when I opened my first store in St Helier. My designs are inspired by everything that’s unique to Jersey’s wildlife, historical buildings and landscape. I can now call a lot of our returning customers friends, and I love listening to stories from our tourists about their adventures on the island.

Katie Moore

I was born and raised here in Jersey but have Irish roots. I was always based in St Saviour, surrounded by fields and have a huge love for our wildlife. I’m often out on walks enjoying nature or in a studio working on aerial fitness. My favourite thing about Jersey is our variety of food, culture and beaches, especially our sunsets on them. My favourite thing about working in Jersey Inspired is the customers I get to talk to every day; I love hearing about their adventures and memories on the island and often get ideas from them.

Nona Abalos

I’m a cheerful team member from the Philippines, now living in Jersey for the past four years. I love exploring the island’s natural beauty—from mountain hikes to beach strolls—and I have a passion for discovering local cuisine. Working here at Jersey Inspired is such a joy—I love creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere for our customers. I take pride in providing attentive service, and I find great joy in connecting with both locals and visitors alike.
