Jersey Inspired
Located in the heart of St Helier, Jersey Inspired was opened in 2023 by Jennifer Velazco to provide something unique to people who live in and visit beautiful Jersey. After success with her first Jewellery store, which she opened in 2015, Jennifer wanted to expand her collections and bring an even more comprehensive range of unique designs to the high street. All the pieces are designed by Jennifer on the premises and exclusive to Jersey Inspired. We use local gems such as our historic Jersey pink granite, Black granite and Jersey’s famous Ormer shell.
The inspiration behind the designs comes from all things that are special about the island, and this is shown through the collections, such as The Jersey Cow, Corbiere lighthouse, The Jersey Bean, Island inspired and The Jersey Crapaud. We want people to be able to take home a genuine piece of Jersey, whether it be for a gift or as a reminder of your memorable holiday in sunny Jersey.
Our easy-going and helpful staff will make your shopping experience an absolute pleasure, and if you can’t find what you’re looking for, we are happy to commission a piece exclusive to you.

I was born in Barcelona, Spain. In my youth, I lived in London, where I met my husband. We have lived in different places, but for the last three years, we have lived on “the rock”, where my husband is from. I love watching the sunsets in St. Ouens and walking along the cliffs… especially during the summer when the sunshine makes me feel like I’m home. Even though I miss home, the locals are so friendly that it makes living on the island a real delight.

I left Plyouth and arrived in sunny Jersey in 1985. My favourite pastime apart from reading is going on cliff path walks as it keeps me fit, and the stunning scenery always makes me feel like I'm on holiday. I've always had a passion for Jewellery and worked in the industry for 7 years. I love getting to know customers and listening to their stories about their holidays or simply chatting with a local about their weekend.
