The Jersey Red Squirrel

With red squirrel numbers on the brink of extinction in mainland UK, did you know that they are thriving in Jersey? You can spot Jersey’s red squirrel at St Catherine’s, Egypt Woods, Val de la Mar and Queen’s Valley Reservoirs or Jersey’s railway walk. These adorable little fur balls live in harmony with the other wonderful species at Jersey Zoo.
