Our hand-cut and polished local Jersey Ormer shell is beautifully smooth, iridescent and rainbow-coloured. Jersey Ormer shell is unique to the Channel Islands.  This shell was used in the 18th & 19th centuries to make furniture and ornaments. It is a local delicacy and can still be found in many households, used as decorative pieces. 

Our Jersey Ormer shell crashing wave drop earrings are crafted using local hand-crafted Ormer shell and 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating for long-lasting shine. The Ormer shell measures 9mm. Earring size including the hook: 38 x 13mm. Supplied on an 18-inch diamond-cut snake chain.
