This shell was used in the 18th & 19th centuries to make furniture and ornaments. It is a local delicacy and can still be found in many households used as decorative pieces.
Our Jersey Ormer shell halo ball bracelet is crafted using local hand-crafted Ormer shell and 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating for long-lasting shine. The Ormer shell measures 4mm with a 1mm clear crystal surround. Halo size: 7mm. Silver ball size: 3mm. Bracelet length: 17.5cm and is elasticated to fit a variety of wrist sizes.
