This shell was used in the 18th & 19th centuries to make furniture and ornaments. It is a local delicacy and can still be found in many households, used as decorative pieces.
Our Jersey Ormer shell heart clip-on charm is crafted using local handcrafted Ormer shell and 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating for long-lasting shine. The Ormer shell measures 8 x 8mm. The charm measures 11 x 11mm. The lobster clasp is versatile and can be clipped onto a thin silver necklace chain, link chains, or an elasticated ball bracelet.
