Our hand-cut and polished local Jersey Ormer shell is beautifully smooth, iridescent and rainbow-coloured. Jersey Ormer shell is unique to the Channel Islands.  This shell was used in the 18th & 19th centuries to make furniture and ornaments. It is a local delicacy and can still be found in many households, used as decorative pieces. 
Set in 925 sterling silver with rhodium for a long-lasting finish. Pendant measures: 31.4 x 18.5mm. Ormer shell size: 8mm round. Supplied on an 18-inch box chain.
