Our hand-cut and local Jersey Ormer shell is beautifully smooth, iridescent and rainbow-coloured. Jersey Ormer shell is unique to the Channel Islands. This shell was used in the 18th & 19th centuries to make furniture and ornaments. It is a local delicacy and can still be found in many households used as decorative pieces.
Our Jersey Ormer Ocean Wave Pendant is crafted using local hand-crafted Ormer shell and a solid weight of 925 sterling silver with rhodium plating for long-lasting shine. The Ormer shells measure 4, 6 & 14mm. The overall pendant size is 42mm.
