Crafted for those with a genuine love for Jersey. This Jersey Ormer Island pendant is crafted with 9ct gold. It is then set with 15.5 x 7.5mm Polished Ormer shell. Pendant measures: 18.5 x 10.5mm. Designed in-house by Jennifer Velazco.
We could only use our island’s shape with all of Jersey’s natural gems to showcase it. The Jersey Ormer shell is an authentic piece of Jersey’s heritage and contains a naturally beautiful rainbow-coloured mother of pearl. Ormer shells were used in the 18th & 19th centuries to make English furniture and ornaments. You will still find the Ormer shell in many Jersey households, used for its beauty as decorative pieces.
