Created with crushed local Jersey pink granite below the lighthouse, set in a 925 sterling silver Corbiere lighthouse with oxidised silver doors and windows to accentuate the extra detail on our famous landmark. The silver is also coated with rhodium for a longer-lasting shine. The stone size is 11 x 4mm. The charm size is 16 x 12mm.
This charm can be used on Pandora-style bracelets and thin necklace chains.
Corbière Lighthouse is one of the first sights to greet visitors to Jersey as they pass it on the ferry. Channel Island waters are notoriously dangerous, but the lighthouse comes as a relief, sparking the local phrase “avons pâssé La Corbiéthe” (we’ve passed La Corbière), meaning “the worst is over”.
The name Corbière itself means ‘place where the crows gather’.
