It is then set with 11 x 5mm Polished Ormer shell. Charm measures: 14 x 8mm. This charm can be used with Pandora-style bracelets and thin necklace chains. Designed in-house by Jennifer Velazco.
We could only use our island’s shape with all of Jersey’s natural gems to showcase it. The Jersey Ormer shell is an authentic piece of Jersey’s heritage and contains a naturally beautiful rainbow-coloured mother of pearl. Ormer shells were used in the 18th & 19th centuries to make English furniture and ornaments. You will still find the Ormer shell in many Jersey households, used for its beauty as decorative pieces. We have captured nature’s beauty and brought it to life in this unique collection.
