Crafted for those with a genuine love for Jersey. This Jersey Ormer Island ball bracelet is made from 925 sterling silver and rhodium-plated for lasting shine. It is then set with 10.5 x 5mm Polished Ormer shell. The Island measures 12.5 x 7mm. The bracelet is 17.5 cm long and elasticated to fit a variety of wrist sizes. Each sterling silver ball measures 4mm. Designed in-house by Jennifer Velazco.
We could only use our island’s shape and Jersey’s natural gems to showcase it. The Jersey Ormer shell is an authentic piece of Jersey’s heritage and contains a naturally beautiful rainbow-coloured mother-of-pearl. Ormer shells were used in the 18th & 19th centuries to make English furniture and ornaments. You will still find the Ormer shell in many Jersey households, used for its beauty as decorative pieces. We have captured nature’s beauty and brought it to life in this unique collection.
