Small Ormer Island Necklace – ORN08-2

Crafted for those with a genuine love for Jersey. This Jersey Ormer Island necklace is crafted from 925 sterling silver and rhodium-plated for a long-lasting shine. It is then set with 10 x 5mm Jersey Polished Ormer shell. Pendant measures: 12.5 x 7mm. Supplied on an 18-inch box chain. Designed in-house by Jennifer Velazco.

We could only use our island’s shape with all of Jersey’s natural gems to showcase it. The Jersey Ormer shell is an authentic piece of Jersey’s heritage and contains a naturally beautiful rainbow-coloured mother of pearl. Ormer shells were used in the 18th & 19th centuries to make English furniture and ornaments. You will still find the Ormer shell in many Jersey households, used for its beauty as decorative pieces. We have captured nature’s beauty and brought it to life in this unique collection
